The world class Sable Tin Deposit, known locally as "Sobolinoye" is located within the prolific Komsomolsk Tin District of the Russian Far East in close proximity to China, Japan and South Korea.

Discovered in 1964, the Sable tin license was explored between 1972 and 1987 culminating in a C1 and C2 (measured and indicated) resource of 10.461 million tonnes of ore with an average grade of 0.88% Tin and 0.53% Copper.
Mining license valid to 2032
Zabaykalskaya Mining Company JSC (Sable Tin Resources)acquired rights to the deposit at a State Auction in 2012 and was issued with a license to mine and explore the deposit valid until the end of 2032.
